Wedding Canapes

When your friends and family are enjoying their first glass of bubbly as celebrations for your big day begin, it’s often a good idea to offer them something small and delicious to accompany it. Our wedding canapé catering is (we have been assured), second to none. Those little bites proffered by our friendly and professional staff can either be a piquant foretaste of a delicious wedding breakfast to come, or can even be generous enough to comprise a meal. 

We love making canapés. Each one is crafted to make it as beautiful as a painting, but it is not often that a painting tastes as good as it looks. Some of the canapés that have most delighted our clients in the past are olive tapenade with roast tomato on a parmesan shortbread, smoked trout with horseradish mousse on a beetroot rösti, or the always popular mini Yorkshire puddings with mustard, watercress and rare roast beef. These are all fabulous but we have a virtually infinite variety of others that we can create for you, including, of course, vegetarian or vegan options.

 

Wedding Canape Catering in Sussex


Elizabeth Caton Food and Wine is a well established catering company working mostly in Sussex and London. We are two sisters who, along with our team, have ten years of experience working alongside couples as they plan their great day. We have catered for hundreds of weddings over that time and of course every one is different and every one is  individual. Obviously some couples have bigger budgets than others, and for those who would prefer to spend a little less, then wedding canapé catering is a possible option. If you choose this route we can absolutely assure you that your guests will be as happy as if they had been offered a three course meal. Similarly, if you choose to add canapés to your full wedding breakfast, then you can be assured that you will be offering your guests an extra layer of delight.
